Hanging out in Hong Kong

It's about 6:30 AM here in Hong Kong - we've got a 4 hour layover before we leave for Ho Chi Minh City. Norah is currently running around after the confinement of a 16 hour flight. I don't know where she gets the energy. The adults' batteries are running pretty low right now.

One word description of our flight from Toronto to HCMC - turbulent. No, it wasn't air turbulence. It was the Norah variety! Take a good amount of fear of the airplane toilet, mix it with a proneness for nightmares, and then a pinch of strange guy who's sitting in the seat where my Daddy should be and apparently you get the Norah perfect storm! She was actually excellent for the vast majority of the flight, but emulating her Nana, she decided she would "make her presence known" on the plane when everyone else thought it would be a good time to sleep. After 3 episodes, one of which involved her doing an interesting angry dance by the washrooms with a flight attendant unsuccessfully trying to humour her, all was well. And the bonus was that the strange man switched seats with Daddy so we all sat together. Clearly it was all part of her master plan!

Next stop Vietnam! We found out just before we left that our Giving and Receiving Ceremony (when Luke is officially ours) is March 9 - the day after we arrive!

Norah is just doing what any self respecting lady on an airplane who can't find a decent washroom would do! I will be thinking of you on Monday!!!! Very exciting.
