Family Day in Vietnam

We celebrated yet another milestone while in Vietnam: the 3rd anniversary of when Norah joined Doug and I to make a family of three. We had a busy day so we had a low-key celebration of eating in (the first time since arriving here) and having spaghetti with some fromagio cheese (we think it was Romano?). We then went for an evening swim (Luke's first!) and in the tepid tub (calling it a hot tub just wouldn't be appropriately descriptive). Norah finished off the evening with an ice cream cone - when we bought the ice cream, the lady went to the back of the store and brought back sugar cones to go with it - yum! The rest of us were too tired for ice cream (our first!). Pretty low-key, but very special nonetheless!

Hey -

Congratulations - I love all your posts and pictures! We arrived home from Jamaica last night after a week of fun and relaxation in the sun. We called you on March 6th to say good bye but figured we'd missed you when you weren't home...we've been thinking of you every day since we got your e-mail saying that you were leaving! We can't wait to see you and meet Luke when you are back!

Some news from our end - I lost my job (frustrating story which I'll fill you in when you're back). So I am now reachable at hmacmill@hotmail.com

Looking forward to hearing from you - when are you back? Keep having fun...give Norah and Luke a hug from us!

I love the blog - you guys always have the most colorful way of describing your adventures. I particularly enjoy the photo of "home boy" and I loved Audrey's guest blog as well. When do you head back to North America?

Hey - we thought about you guys as we celebrated "Gotcha Day" last Friday. What better way to celebrate it than to bring another little life into your family!
