The plan was that Doug would put the crib together this coming weekend with the help of our friend Rick. However, Mojo couldn't wait that long, so Doug decided to help him and they managed to finish the whole thing! Here's Doug and Mojo working hard.

Our Itinerary

Here is our official itinerary for our trip. I'm tired just reading it! Remember, Beijing is 12 hours ahead of Ontario. So, when we meet Norah, it will be March 13 in China, but still March 12 in Ontario.

March 8: Leave for Beijing on AC029.
March 9: Arrive in Beijing.
Mar 12: Leave Beijing to to go to Nanning.
Mar 13: The Day we Meet Norah! Called Gotcha Day in adoption lingo. Go to the Civil Affairs office to meet the baby and sign the adoption agreement. In the afternoon do adoption registration and apply for Norah's passport.
Mar 14: Go for notarization process.
Mar 15: Visit GuiPing SWI where Norah has been living.
Mar 16: Visit Qing Xiu Shan Park.
Mar 17: Pick up passport. Then back to Beijing.
Mar 18: Medical for baby.
Mar 19: Visit Tian An Men square and the Forbidden City.
Mar 20: Go to the Canadian Embassy for visa appointment.
Mar 21: Sightsee the Great Wall.
Mar 22: Hutong tour. Beijing Duck Dinner in the evening. Needless to say, Doug and I are not so excited by the menu!
Mar 23: Pick up visa.
Mar 24: Leave to come home - AC032 - arrive in Toronto at 1:55 PM.
